The painting is an unframed watercolour and ink painting on cartridge paper.
I grew up by the seaside in Fleetwood, sometimes we would take the ferry over the Wyre to Knott End, Much like Lowry did on his holidays.
When you get it it will be packed in a poly-bag but it needs framing. It looks best in an A3 frame with a mount for A4.
