FD174 Woodblock print, mounted on A4 board ready for framing
FD is the two letters assigned to the port of Fleetwood where I grew up. It is an old fishing town where so many fishermen didn’t come back from that voyage to catch cod and other fish. It was once a major employer in the town now there aren’t really any fish landed here. Our main export in the town is now Fisherman’s Friend Lozenges and their logo is an old Fleetwood fishing boat.
I created this print using my original drawing etched into plywood, then printed using a printing press.
Comes with a custom mount, cut to A4 and inside a cellophane wrapper to keep it clean. Just needs an A4 frame to hang on the wall.
