Walk two: Fleetwood Libraries

We met outside of Healthier Fleetwood and walked up to Dock Street.

The old Fielden Free Library once gifted to the town stands out with its Venetian Gothic Arches which were built in 1863. Unfortunately the listed Decimus Burton Building next door is falling down as the lintel has cracked.

It stands alone in that style of architecture. once a major meeting house we did sight-size measured drawings of its windows and door.

There is still a bus stop outside as a measure of how important it once was now a private residence.

There was a family fun day with inflatables as we passed the market, so the families with us went to the market after they finished.

The second hour was spend painting the Fleetwood Library and the Pocket Park across the road.

Once again the feedback has been amazing, they were a brilliant group.
